Our CBD oil with MCT carrier oil combines quality Swiss organic hemp extract with medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) from coconut oil. 0,2% THC – what exactly does that mean?
With a THC content of at most 0,2% our MCT oils meet the stricter EU requirements (Germany, Austria and France in particular) while remaining legal in Switzerland (the Swiss limit is 1%). That makes this line ideal for:

Thanks to MCT as the carrier, the effect sets in after about 10-20 minutes – somewhat faster than with classic hemp seed oil. Place the drops under your tongue, hold for 60 seconds, then swallow.

MCT stands for „medium chain triglycerides“ – medium-chain fatty acids. They are obtained mainly from coconut oil, are neutral in taste and are used by the body directly for energy. They are an excellent carrier for fat-soluble cannabinoids such as CBD.
Is MCT oil better than hemp seed oil?
Both have their advantages. MCT oil offers higher bioavailability and a neutral taste. Hemp seed oil additionally provides omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and plant compounds that can strengthen the entourage effect. Which is better depends on your personal goal.

Does MCT CBD oil taste different from ordinary CBD oil?
Yes, markedly. MCT oil is almost tasteless, whereas hemp seed oil has an earthy, sometimes bitter flavour of its own. If you do not like the taste of hemp, MCT is the better choice.
How does MCT affect the way CBD works?
MCT improves the absorption of CBD through the mucous membrane of the mouth and in the digestive tract. Studies show a 3-4× higher bioavailability compared with aqueous solutions.
Is MCT oil ketogenic?
Yes. MCT fatty acids are converted directly into ketone bodies in the liver and are a popular part of a ketogenic diet – a pleasant side effect of our CBD MCT oils.
How long does the oil keep?
24 months unopened. Use within 6 months of opening. MCT oil is considerably more resistant to oxidation than hemp seed oil.
