CBD in general
What exactly is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is one of more than 100 cannabinoids in the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa L.). Unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive. In Switzerland CBD is legally available as long as the THC content stays below 1 %. There is more on this in our CBD comparison.
What does Swiss law say about CBD?
In Switzerland CBD products with a THC content below 1 % are legally available. For every batch we supply an independent laboratory certificate (COA) with the cannabinoid profile and the THC value.
What is the difference between full spectrum, broad spectrum and isolate?
Full spectrum contains all the cannabinoids including traces of THC (below 1 %), broad spectrum all of them except THC, and isolate is pure CBD. Thanks to the entourage effect, full spectrum is regarded as the most effective.
Legal aspects & safety
Is CBD legal in Switzerland?
Yes. CBD products containing less than 1 % THC are freely available in Switzerland – without a prescription, from the age of 18. We comply with every legal requirement and supply a laboratory certificate with each product.
Can I drive after taking CBD?
With our CBD oil without THC, yes, as it contains no detectable THC. With full spectrum products we recommend caution: even small amounts of THC can, in rare cases, trigger a positive drug test.
From what age can I buy CBD?
HempJoy sells CBD products exclusively to people aged 18 and over.

Ordering, shipping & service
How long does delivery take within Switzerland?
Orders placed before 14 o’clock go out the same working day with Swiss Post and are delivered on the next working day. Neutral, discreet packaging.

Can I return CBD products?
We take back unopened and unused products within 14 days. Opened items cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene.
