What is the difference between a tincture and an oil?
Tinctures use alcohol as the solvent and are absorbed faster through the mucous membrane of the mouth. CBD oils use vegetable oil as the carrier and stay active somewhat longer in the digestive tract. Both have their place – it depends on the use.

Does the tincture contain alcohol?
Yes, organic alcohol is the solvent. The daily amounts are very small, though – a few drops correspond to a minimal amount of alcohol, far below the legal limit for driving.

Can I take the CBD tincture in tea or water?
Yes, that is possible. Sublingual use is more efficient, however, because the cannabinoids reach the blood directly without passing through digestion first.

What does the CBD tincture taste like?
Strongly herbal with an alcoholic note. If you find the taste too intense, you can mix the drops into a spoonful of honey or into tea.
